Deciding on surgery

I didn't like my wide, angular and dull face

My face looked flat without any v-line at all.

So I always grew my hair so that I could cover my square jaw

Also, I was never confident about my profile because of the nose tip.

My nose was hooked so I had a tough look.

I had enough of covering my face with hair.

So I decided the surgery for a more sleek facial line and soft look.

Surgery information 

Because of her protruding facial bones and asymmetric chin, her face itself looked wider and dull. Her facial line wasn't sleek due to her protruding mouth as well.

In addition, her nose gave her a way too strong look and her down-turned nose tip made her nose look longer.

Arrow-shaped nose + humpy nose + deviated nose + wide cheek bones + asymmetric jaw line + wide face + sunken facial areas

BEFORE&AFTER

After surgery, I became confident just like any other 20 year old girls.

Now, I can tie my hair up without any hesitance.

I can see my V-line from every angle when taking pictures.

I love Braun who boosted my confidence and self-esteem.

Plastic Surgery Journey 

[On the surgery day]

It was nerve-racking.

I arrived at Braun at 9:30 AM, got changed, cleansed my face, took quick photos and finally consulted with my doctor before I went into the operation room.

As soon as I was laid down in the operation table, I was getting more tense.

The music was being played there and it comforted me somehow.

When I recognized the nurse's voice, I was already in the recovery room.

My nostrils were blocked and I could taste some blood in my mouth/throat, which made me hard to breathe.

Though, I was glad that the pain was not worse than what I thought.

I was very grateful that the nurses came to check on me regularly and took perfect care of me.

[~ 5 days after surgery]

Waiting for swelling to go away...

The next day, the swelling was slowly going away starting from my eyes.

However, the swelling inside my mouth was actually the worst.

On the 3rd day, it got better and it's maybe because of the pumpkin soup or ice pack

On the 5th day, I got the splint and stitches out, and then received treatment.

I felt much greater after that.

But I still had some swelling left in my mouth and on the jaw.

I did gargle often,put ointment and had soup only until the 5th day.

[Week 1~2]

Enjoyable to check on my face getting better

I felt hard to get back to my daily routine but I could finally see the facial line.
On the day of stitch removal, it didn't hurt.
I became able to put make up on.
I was told that my face got much smaller already.
I still had some swelling left though but was hoping that swelling would go away

[After 2 months]

My smaller face with a natural-looking facial line 

I could move my jaw up and down without any problem.
Every day, my face was getting smaller and the line became more natural-looking.
The front was okay but the profile wasn't quite ready yet.
I was told all the remaining swelling would be gone after 3 months so I still needed to wait.
I was waiting for the d-day and did massage and jaw exercises regularly.

My nose looked natural, and the movement of facial muscles, and nose looked all nature too.
I was happy particularly about my pointy nose tip after the nose surgery at Braun.
Also, the nose surgery made my protruding mouth look much better.

[After 6 months]

Better Me has begun

Time went by so fast.
I felt like it's happened not so long ago when I was on the operation bed feeling extremely nervous at Braun.
But now, 6 months have passed.
I can eat whatever I want and the outcome looks so natural, which even make me feel like I didn't go through any surgery.

I look at myself in the mirror and am more than happy, especially about my profile after the surgery at Braun.
I used to have straight hair only to cover my face before the surgery b   ut now I can do any hair style.
My face got so much smaller and slimmer.
Of course, my confidence is going up every day.
