Deciding on surgery

I wanted to get rid of my "homeless-looking" face

I always covered half of my face with hair

Long bangs were a must to cover my side cheek bones, square jaw, and sunken cheek areas.

I had a low nose with small eyes. 

In other words, my face was sort of messed up.

My job frequently required me to meet a lot of people, which eventually made me consider the surgery so that I could gain enough confidence to interact with people at work.

Her skin itself was great, yet lacked elasticity.

Her side cheek bones and square jaw were over-developed, which gave her uneven facial line.

She didn't have double eyelids and the skin of her eyelids was thick that gave her a dull-looking face.

BEFORE&AFTER

What a pretty and smart-looking face!

I made a reservation at Braun and had a couple of weeks off.

My students got surprised to see how much I changed during the break.

They would say "You got so pretty! Are you getting married?" 

Some even said " My sister needs surgery too, so please tell me where you've got them done".

Now I became a pretty and smart math teacher!

Plastic Surgery Journey

[On the surgery day]

Mom, I will be back PRETTY!

It wasn't hard until the surgery was really happening.

I didn't feel comfortable to get surgery on my own so I went to Braun with my mom.

I was excited for the better life coming.

I had the last consultation with the doctor before surgery and he made some design of double eyelids on my eyes.

Then, I went in the operation room afterwards.

The anesthesiologist said " I am going to start ", and then I fell asleep.

When I woke up, my face was wrapped and I had a splint in my nose.

I thought "I made it"

[~5 days after surgery]

Taking care of swelling!

My eyes and face didn't get swollen.

The photo above was taken with a lifting band on.

I had a lifting band on every day because it would help me with swelling 

,and keep the facial line in good shape.

On the 5th day, I went visit Braun and got the nose splint out!

I also received skin care treatment and lymph treatment.

I felt a lot better after the treatment session.

After the nose splint was out, I could finally breathe easily.

The swelling between my eyes was s till there, but the nose line looked amazing.

The doctor at Braun told me that I don't need to worry and just need to relax.

It's only been five days, but the swelling on my chin was already going away, which really impressed me.

[Week 1~2]

I always wore a lifting band!

I received skin care and high frequency treatment at Braun.

So there was nothing much to do for me.

They even washed my hair, which was so great, especially when I had such a long one.

After facial contouring surgery, a baby tooth brush was needed!

The nurses told me to brush my teeth right after eating.

I brushed them every time because I didn't want any inflammation.

The swelling on cheek bones and jaw were getting better over time.

Also, swelling on my eyes were recovering fast too.

I was satisfied with the outcome of both eye surgery and facial contouring.

[After 2 months]

Getting back to work after the surgery!

On the day getting back to work after the break and surgery,

I was very nervous because I worried that people might find me weird or strange.

People were aware that I went through the surgery and they all gave me a compliment.

I now became a celebrity at work.

Of course, my confidence was a lot boosted.

The swelling went almost gone.

Compared to before when I couldn't even smile well, I became able to make any facial expression.

I used a lifting band for such a long time on a regular basis, which I think is a reason for my recovery speed.

Plus, I didn't get saggy skins either.

[After 6 months]

I am getting younger day by day

My colleague asked me why I am getting younger every day.

I wanted to say "It's because of the time and patience at Braun"

I never thought that the result would come out this amazing.

I would like to tell you all that you won't become pretty right after the surgery, and 

it would take time and patience.

It's because dream doesn't come true just over night.

Now I put my hair up in any style without being self-conscious.

MY friends told me the surgery was such a great decision and they are all happy for me.

I became very confident as I wished before the surgery.

People would tell me that I look so happy.

Yes, I am SUPER HAPPY NOW!
